The graduate institute of sports and health management was established in August 2007. It is aimed at:
Developing the talents of sports and health management, who can effectively campaign sports strategies to people for the purpose of improving theirhealth and living quality.
Working in alliance with the authorities concerned to promote the sports and health schemes.
Following the worldwide trend in developing sports technology and exploiting the human resources in sports and health management.
Advancing the status of this institute in the academic research at home and abroad, and integrating the theories in design, development, application, management, and evaluation with real-life experiences.
Providing the courses for health management staff and PE teachers in central Taiwan to learn more about sports science, the development of sports and health equipment, and recreation management.
Research Field:
Sports and Recreation Management: composed of management, administration, and sociology.
Sports Science: consists of sports physiology, sports biomechanics, development of sports equipment, and health management.
